I help lead and provide strategic oversight of media operations, production, resources and technical services across CBC’s journalism division; with direct oversight of the network news production services team in Toronto, and in close collaboration with local operations leaders and their regional management to align strategy, resources and technical production across the division in support of shared editorial and audience objectives.

With the aim of future-proofing the tools, production techniques and workflows that enable storytelling across TV, radio, digital, social and emerging platforms; I employ a people-first approach to the rollout of new technologies.

I drive a unified approach to contingency planning and emergency preparedness across the division and am the division’s voice with respect to corporate capital investments.
