As SVP of Global Networks at Blue Ant Media, Julio oversees the distribution of Blue Ant Media’s suite of PayTV and FAST channels on the U.S. and Latin America markets.
Since joining Blue Ant Media in 2017, Julio has been instrumental in launching the company’s expanding portfolio of FAST channels, including TotalCrime, Homeful, Love Nature, HauntTV, HistoryTime, Love Pets, and Drag Race Universe. He spearheaded the launch of Love Nature in the U.S. as a FAST-only channel in 2020. Through his expertise in platform partnerships and bespoke affiliate deals, Blue Ant Channels has since grown its distribution to more than 30 streaming platforms.
Based in Los Angeles and fluent in multiple languages, Julio holds an MBA from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, and brings more than 30 years of experience in television. Prior to Blue Ant, he spent 18 years at Fox Networks Group, where he successfully launched over 100 Pay TV channels across the EMEA and Latin American regions as well as a U.S. broadcast network. His career has given him deep expertise in business operations, channel distribution, broadcast operations, and a comprehensive knowledge of the OTT, Free-to-Air, and Pay TV industries across the U.S., Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
